  • Stress and Overeating?

Does anyone have experience with stress that causes overeating?

I noticed when I am bored or stressed, I eat more than I need to and then this leads to weight gain which causes more stress.

I would love to break this cycle but I don't know how.

A friend of mine is like this. He tends to eat the most when family or work life is especially stressful for him.

He ended up talking to someone about it and they helped him use different methods to control it. One of them was using hard candy in place of eating. It helped him lose weight pretty fast.

When I'm finishing something on the rush, I tend to feel more hungry and eat more, so I think stress and overeating have close relationship.

I have this issue when I am not busy. When I have things going on, I will actually forget to eat.

Find something you enjoy to keep you active when you are not at work and have nothing going on.
